Purpose and scope

This policy applies to articles, guides, images, newsletters and explanatory pages published by Keltron. The site focuses on energy, metabolism, food patterns and related questions for adults over 40 in the United Kingdom. Content is general editorial information and is not individual guidance. We aim to make uncertainty, source limits and publication dates clear.

Editorial responsibilities

Editorial lead Rowan Ellis oversees commissioning, source notes, plain-language review and correction handling. Contributors are asked to describe their relevant communication experience and to disclose conflicts that could affect a topic. Keltron does not present stock photography as evidence of a named expert or clinical setting. A byline identifies editorial responsibility rather than a personal assessment of a reader.

Research and wording

Articles distinguish background explanation, observational findings and controlled research where relevant. We avoid promises, unsupported certainty and language that implies an individual outcome. Sources are considered for relevance, date, methods and limitations. When a subject is unsettled, the wording reflects that rather than presenting one interpretation as final.

  • Topic scope is defined before drafting.
  • Technical terms receive plain-language explanation.
  • Material changes are dated during review.

Corrections and updates

Readers can report a factual concern to [email protected] or 33 Albion Street, Leeds LS1 1AA. Please include the page address, quoted wording and supporting context. We aim to acknowledge a substantive report within five working days and investigate material issues within 20 working days where practicable.

Corrections are made transparently when a material error is confirmed. Minor wording or formatting changes may not receive a separate notice, while changes that alter meaning are recorded with a review date.

Commercial independence

Keltron does not sell editorial conclusions or accept payment in exchange for a promised result. Links are selected for reader context and are not endorsements unless clearly stated. Any future commercial relationship would be assessed for relevance, disclosure and separation from editorial decision-making.

Review date

This policy was reviewed on 9 September 2026. Questions about editorial standards can be sent to Rowan Ellis at [email protected]. The policy will be reviewed when the site structure, contributors or material editorial processes change.
